Specialty · Industrial processes
Industrial automation in the Canary Islands.
We design control panels, program PLCs and deploy custom SCADA systems. Modbus TCP, Profinet, EtherNet/IP, OPC UA and MES/ERP connectivity. For factories, pumping stations or treatment plants.

What we do in automation
Control design
Process analysis, P&ID, signal list, communications architecture and switchgear sizing. Coordination with the client's mechanical and hydraulic engineering.
PLC programming
Delta DVP, Siemens S7, Schneider Modicon. Programming in IEC 61131-3 (Ladder, Structured Text, FBD) with clean, documented and maintainable code.
SCADA / Visualisation
Custom SCADA systems in HTML5 sized to the project. Real-time KPIs, alarms with history, CSV/Excel export and REST API for integration with the client's MES or ERP.
AI on the plant floor
AI integration on top of process data: anomaly detection on time series and predictive maintenance from plant variables.
CMMS / ERP integration
SCADA connection to Odoo, SAP or other ERPs and to CMMS systems: automatic alarm reports, work orders, preventive maintenance follow-up and equipment lifetime traceability.
Support and maintenance
Secure VPN remote access for diagnostics and changes without travel. Continued maintenance after delivery for plant production processes.

Frequently asked questions
What plant and maintenance managers ask us.
What kind of industrial plants can Indótica automate?
Discrete production lines, continuous process plants (chemical, food), pumping stations, water treatment plants, logistics warehouses, refrigeration and motor control centres. The scope ranges from a cabinet with one PLC and 30 signals to distributed architectures with several PLCs, central SCADA and ERP connection. If the process is controllable and measures-controls with standard sensors, we automate it.
Can SCADA be integrated with already-installed systems?
Yes. Most plants have PLCs from different generations, variable frequency drives with their own buses, weighing scales, electricity meters and legacy automatons. The custom or Ignition-based SCADA layer integrates with all of them via Modbus TCP/RTU, Profinet, EtherNet/IP, OPC UA or gateways. Legacy integration is usually the bulk of the project and where the real value lies.
How much does it cost to automate a small-to-medium plant?
Every project is different: type of process, number of signals, legacy equipment, redundancy, MES/ERP integration. We deliver a custom study with no obligation — process audit, detailed line-item proposal, timeline and a fixed price. We don't throw figures over the phone because every plant is its own case.
How does automation connect to the company's ERP / MES?
Via REST APIs, OPC UA or SQL/MQTT gateways depending on the systems involved. Typically: SCADA pushes KPIs and production data to MES or ERP at regular intervals (consumption, downtime, OEE, batches), and the ERP returns setpoints (recipes, planning). When an ERP is already defined (SAP, Odoo, Navision), integration is designed with their IT team.
What support does Indótica offer after delivery?
Continued maintenance and support of the installation: remote monitoring to catch incidents before they escalate, scheduled interventions and on-site visits in the Canary Islands when needed. The exact scope is agreed with each client based on the criticality of the process.
