KNX home automation in El Sauzal

Domotized housing in the area of Sauzal in Tenerife, Canary Islands. All existing installations have been monitored at the facility. The dali lighting system behaves in automatic mode depending on the outside light and the presence in specific areas of the house. In addition, all dali lighting is controlled by scenes that can be modified by the owner through the mobile application and that are stored in the home’s push buttons so that they can later be called from those buttons.

The installation in the KNX home automation system in El Sauzal has been carried out with the latest technologies in 2019, in accordance with the KNX standard and the standard system for lighting control Dalí.

Within the scenes it is possible to choose different intensities of lighting and/or luminaires to be switched on.

The communication between dali and knx is done through knx-dali gateways. All lighting is dimmable from the cell phone application as well as from the push buttons distributed in the different rooms.

The configuration system is done from the cell phone through the Web server with a simple and intuitive access. As it is a KNX system, the wiring is minimal compared to a conventional installation and the versatility of the installation is total even after completion of the house.

In the outdoor area, lighting has been installed, as well as lighting and filtering of the same, with filtering time activation graphs.

Highlight control of different irrigation zones by schedules and graphs of irrigation periods.

The main water inlet in the house has a control system to determine the period in which there will be water supply or not by means of a timetable.

The entire KNX home in El Sauzal has been equipped with an audio system with Bowers & Wilkins loudspeakers.

Indótica announces delay of Light + Building to September 2020

Light + Building, the world’s leading trade fair for lighting technology and building automation, will take place in Frankfurt am Main from 27 September to 2 October 2020.

Indótica works for the design and technological advice in architectural lighting, both indoor and outdoor, and we provide technical solutions to the requirements of architectural studios in the field of lighting, making high-end luminaires at more than reasonable prices and under the specifications of architectural studios.

We look forward to doing our bit at the fair and to discovering new horizons in the field of lighting, electrical engineering and, of course, building and home automation.

Indótica reports a delay of Light + Building to September 2020, according to the organisers, the reason for the delay is “to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus and not to endanger the health of exhibitors and visitors”. We are involved in supporting this decision and, in the same way, we can only give words of support and encouragement to all those affected by this new virus. “Hope is the pillar that supports the world. Indótica participates in the Architecture and Business Forum

Indótica participates in the Architecture and Business forum held in Puerto de la Cruz on 4 July 2019. Indótica shows solutions in lighting and in the design of automation installations based on the KNX, dali, bacnet, lonworks and modbus standards. The event was attended by prestigious architectural studios and a selection of construction-related companies.

The event was hosted by the Hotel Vallemar, which is located on the seafront in the city of Puerto de la Cruz in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.

The forum of Architecture and Business consists of creating a relationship between the architecture studios and the participating companies, and to this end it establishes a series of meetings in which the studios can present their projects in order to seek solutions to their construction or any other type of concerns and keep their solutions up to date over time. In the same way, the latest technological advances and construction solutions will be brought up to date.

In this case, the event brought together the 20 best architecture studios on the islands as well as 16 sponsoring companies, including Indótica. Indótica dealt with the control of installations, home automation and the integration of all technologies in homes and buildings.

It should be noted that Indótica was the only natural company on the islands, being located in Santa Cruz de Tenerife and with the possibility of covering the island efficiently and quickly.

Inmotic and home automation installation in Tenerife La Laguna Gran Hotel

Indótica, a company specialized in home and building automation located in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, has completed the commissioning of the room control system of the four-star La Laguna Gran Hotel, located in the historic center of the city of San Cristobal de la Laguna, with 123 luxury rooms, gym, swimming pool, cafeteria, restaurant, convention and event rooms, private parking, high-speed fiber optics in all rooms and common areas. The hotel is equipped with a state-of-the-art control system that unites the two worldwide standards for facility control, namely KNX and Lonworks technologies.

The system can be controlled from reception or from any remote equipment such as a laptop, cell phone, etc. This greatly facilitates the maintenance work of the hotel staff and allows to detect faults before the guests notice them, everything related to the rooms such as the air conditioning system and the access control system. All this has been done with the Lonworks standard.

The lighting of the hotel has been made with the dali protocol, this allows that almost at any point you can increase or decrease the power of the lights and create the right environments, all this is controlled from anywhere in the hotel from a cell phone, laptop or tablet. It allows the creation of scenarios and schedules so that everything works automatically. The lighting control system for the entire hotel is

Similarly, presence detectors have been integrated into the home automation system to prevent both lighting and air conditioning from being left on due to carelessness, considerably reducing the energy costs of the installation and greatly avoiding environmental pollution due to the use of unnecessary resources.
