Indótica, a company specialized in home and building automation located in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, has completed the commissioning of the room control system of the four-star La Laguna Gran Hotel, located in the historic center of the city of San Cristobal de la Laguna, with 123 luxury rooms, gym, swimming pool, cafeteria, restaurant, convention and event rooms, private parking, high-speed fiber optics in all rooms and common areas. The hotel is equipped with a state-of-the-art control system that unites the two worldwide standards for facility control, namely KNX and Lonworks technologies.

The system can be controlled from reception or from any remote equipment such as a laptop, cell phone, etc. This greatly facilitates the maintenance work of the hotel staff and allows to detect faults before the guests notice them, everything related to the rooms such as the air conditioning system and the access control system. All this has been done with the Lonworks standard.

The lighting of the hotel has been made with the dali protocol, this allows that almost at any point you can increase or decrease the power of the lights and create the right environments, all this is controlled from anywhere in the hotel from a cell phone, laptop or tablet. Similarly, presence detectors have been integrated into the home automation system to prevent both lighting and air conditioning from being left on due to carelessness, considerably reducing the energy costs of the installation and greatly avoiding environmental pollution due to the use of unnecessary resources.
